I believe as a youth, in this society today there are certain obligation we are meant to full fill, and there are several obstetrical that we have to face with
in the family society and in the open world, not only the youth, this applies to almost every person.
I have chosen the head line, “To ensure environmental
sustainability and to promote gender equality and empowering women” Since my younger days I had an interest towards Nature and got involved in several programs ,
issues related to the subject, I attended and participated on workshops on Nature preservation,  Lectures, and sheared New ideas amongst the youth.
Organized programs on national level, poster compaction, Drawing Compaction, make aware programs, and Preservation of nature and maintenance,
minimization of destruction to nature, and Animal Protection. My involvement in societies as Sri lanka young explores society, nadegura, Eco Friends ,Wanaspathi ,
Ranabima Royal Wildlife Foundation, with the involvement of MDG, I hope to deliver my ideas more openly to the society in the future and to
 ensure environmental sustainability.
While I was involved in the above mentioned programs I met the Kandy Youth Empowerment Society, in 2011.
As a member active member on the team I hope to organize nature exploration programs, photo competitons, poster, and drawing competitions,
I have sent my message to an certain extent.
The initiative program of the Kandy municipal council “GREEN CITY”, I have participated in tree planting programs within the city, and soil conservation.
With the involvement these associations, I got involved in the “To promote gender equality and empowering women” .
As a result I became a member of the UNHABITAT Youth Empowerment Society (www.kandy-youth.org)
AYV Creative Youth Media Project designed on MDGs empowered me to
 become a global leader.
Winning of Adobe UNICEF Challenge, WYSA and World Bank Microsoft Youth Solutions awards helped me and my team to become
 21st century young leaders.
I believe that youth should be given more responsibility and participation in environment development and women empowerment.
Youth participation, ideas and innovations can enrich environment development more effectively. Young people across the world can collaborate to lead in implementing MGDs . New media, social and mobile networks can help increase MGD awareness and youth participation and implementing MGDs.
I would like to bring my experience in successful implementation of  digital media and short film making projects and new ideas that can take MDGs .
